Eleventh session of the African Regional Forum for Sustainable Development

The United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) and the Government of Uganda, in partnership with the African Union Commission (AUC), the African Development Bank (AfDB) and other UN agencies, are organizing the annual intergovernmental African Regional Forum 2025 on Sustainable Development. The aim of the forum is to assess progress and share expertise, best practices and policy solutions in support of the 2030 Agenda, in line with regional priorities. The forum will be preceded by preparatory events such as the African Regional Forum on Science, Technology and Innovation.
The event will be held in Kampala, Uganda, from April 9 to 11, 2025, under the theme: " Fostering job creation and boosting economic growth through sustainable and inclusive solutions, based on science and evidence, linked to the 2030 Agenda and Agenda 2063 ".
In addition, CORAF will be contributing and actively participating in discussions throughout the forum to highlight opportunities for transforming agri-food systems in West and Central Africa.
