CORAF's Executive Secretariat has awarded honorary distinctions to six (06) key players who have, at some point, played a decisive role in the organization's history.
The gala evening organized at the end of the second day of the West and Central Africa (WCA) Agricultural Research Leaders' Forum was an opportunity to honor these valiant players in agricultural research and development in WCA, for their contributions to the advancement of agricultural research and development.
"If CORAF is this strong organization today, able to continue to ensure its mission to contribute to improving the livelihoods of people in West and Central Africa, it is thanks to each of these leaders who at one time or another, put their expertise and dedication at the service of the organization. Through this honorary distinction, CORAF, through me, wishes to express its gratitude to them", declared Dr Abdou TENKOUANO, Executive Director of CORAF, at the ceremony to present the distinctions to the winners.
