CORAF is an important organization working to improve food and nutrition security in West Africa. CORAF's recent initiatives are a promising sign of its determination to meet the challenges facing West Africa.
Publication of the final report of the 2019 Forum on Africa's Green Revolution

"The Forum's deliberations made it clear that the coordinated efforts of public and private sector players can unlock the potential of everything from big data to blockchain systems, drones, robotics and machine learning platforms to overcome many different challenges and generate a wealth of new opportunities, especially for young, digitally savvy African entrepreneurs," according to the AGRF 2019 report.
AGRF is the largest annual gathering of agricultural stakeholders. In 2019, according to the final report, it brought together more than 2,400 players from 89 countries.
As Africa's largest sub-regional research organization, CORAF was present.
CORAF is currently deploying several tools to improve farmers' access to quality inputs (seeds and fertilizers). CORAF also has a technology repository called MITA and WASIX, designed to encourage demand and supply of seeds.
