Partnership with the Private Sector is essential to promote agricultural innovation by valorizing research achievements. This is why CORAF has chosen "Increasing collaboration with the private sector in West and Central Africa to mitigate the impact of climatic, health and security crises on agriculture" as the theme for the 14th Ordinary Session of its General Assembly, scheduled for April 2024 in Cotonou, Benin.
With this in mind, CORAF paid a courtesy visit to the EBOMAF Foundation on the sidelines of the Third Edition of the Market for Agricultural Innovations and Technologies (MITA 2023), on Thursday September 15, 2023, in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso.
The CORAF delegation, led by Ms Safouratou ADARIPARE, Director of Management Services, was received by Mr Aly SYLLA, Human Resources Officer, representing the Foundation's Managing Director. Created in 2019, the Foundation undertakes humanitarian actions in favor of the most disadvantaged and marginalized populations.
The meeting provided an opportunity to review collaboration and partnership options between CORAF and the Foundation, starting with the Foundation's long-awaited participation in the 14th Ordinary Session of the CORAF General Assembly.
