CORAF is an important organization working to improve food and nutrition security in West Africa. CORAF's recent initiatives are a promising sign of its determination to meet the challenges facing West Africa.

Twenty-seven (27) people from twenty (20) African countries took part in the 2022 edition of the Knowledge Management for Agricultural Development Challenge (KM4AgD Challenge).
These participants were presented and sponsored by various regional organizations, including CORAF, which presented five (05).
CORAF participants come from the Institut togolais de recherche agronomique (ITRA), the Institut national de recherche et de développement agricoles du Cap-Vert (INIDA), the Institut centrafricain de la recherche agronomique (ICRA), the Institut d'information scientifique et technologique du Conseil de la recherche scientifique et industrielle (CSIR-INSTI) in Ghana, and the Central Agricultural Research Institute in Liberia (CARI).

The KM4AgD Challenge is a flagship project for knowledge-based development in AR4D in Africa, taking place every year in a growing number of countries.
This year, participants underwent intensive training in knowledge management techniques from June to September.
Their journey was crowned by the award of certificates at the second annual continental conference on knowledge management for agricultural development.
