Coronavirus or covid-19 management: confined African population and food requirements

It's important to remember that the phrase "man is the measure of all things" is not true, because we're still struggling to transform uncertainty into risk. Uncertainty is something we suffer, and risk is something we manage: risk being the probability of occurrence of an unfavorable event.

From our vantage point and with our observation glasses, we can see that:

  • Climate change, with its priceless array of unfortunate consequences, questions our very existence. They are even a source of fatalism, despite scientific progress;
  • Food crises have not yet disappeared from our radar screens, despite the wealth of knowledge and technology generated daily by mankind;
  • Building productive, sustainable and equitable food systems is becoming increasingly complex due to the erosion of biodiversity and the disappearance of ecosystems, caused by environmentally destructive agricultural practices and human irresponsibility.

This digression brings us back to an indomitable truth: the world is rich in choreographies that are difficult to grasp.
