The 2022 Annual Forum of Leaders in Agricultural Research from West and Central Africa kicked off in Yaoundé on October 19, 2022, for three days.
The opening ceremony was presided over by Her Excellency, Mrs Madeleine TCHUINTE, Cameroon's Minister of Research and Innovation.
The central theme of the meeting, which is the first of its kind, is "Improving capabilities to build resilience in the face of evolving challenges and crises affecting agricultural productivity in West and Central Africa".
CORAF is organizing this first edition of its Forum in collaboration with the Institut de recherche agricole pour le développement du Cameroun (IRAD), the main agricultural research institute of the host country's National Agricultural Research System.
